Everything you need to know to help you get started and to keep you up to date throughout your child's time at TTC!

To get started...

The registration process goes as follows:

  • Create an account

  • Enter the student's information.

  • Choose a class - if the class is full, you can register as a "wait" and we will contact you when there is an opening.

  • Enter in your payment information. We use an auto-payment system so it will save your information.

  • Please email us here if you have any issues or have any questions.

TN Tumbling & Cheer Policies

Tuition & Billing

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month through our auto-pay system. If a payment is missed, you will receive a reminder notification. If payment is not received within 3 days, the student will be withdrawn from their class. Once the balance is paid in full, the student may re-enroll if space is available, with a $10 re-enrollment fee. Students with a past due account cannot participate until the balance is paid.

Absences

We understand that students sometimes need to miss class. Please note that we do not offer refunds or prorated tuition for missed classes.

Make-up Classes

Make-up classes are available for a $5 fee and can be scheduled as space allows:

  • Dr.'s note: no charge

  • Missed make-up class: can reschedule and pay again

  • Advanced notice of missed make-up class: can reschedule at no charge.

  • Holiday closings and scheduled breaks: make-up classes are not offered.

Class Withdrawal

To withdraw your child from a class, please provide seven (7) days written notice before the end of the month via email or by dropping it off at the front desk. This allows us to stop billing and auto-payments for the following month.

Please note: withdrawing part way through the month, does not result in a refund or credit for remaining classes.

Arrival & Pickup

Doors do not open until 10 minutes before the first class of the day. One parent/guardian must remain either with the child inside the building or on the premises during their child's class. Please escort small children to and from the building and drive slowly and carefully in our parking lots.

Video &
Social Media

While students are in class, they may be recorded for training purposes and/or for marketing purposes, which include marketing on Tennessee Tumbling and Cheer's professional social media pages.

Athlete Requirements & Conduct

NO JEWELRY! Students must wear athletic attire (leotards, leggings, shorts, tank tops and t-shirts). Hair should be pulled back from the face for the entire workout.  Hard hair accessories must be removed. All students should have activity-appropriate footwear during class. All open wounds, cuts, warts, etc. must be bandaged or covered before arrival.

Appearance & Attire:

Parent  Conduct & Responsibilities

To ensure a safe, focused, and positive training environment for all athletes, we ask parents and guardians to observe the following expectations in the waiting room:

  • Sideline coaching is not permitted. Coaching from the viewing area can be distracting and confusing for athletes. Please allow our trained coaches to instruct and correct skills during class.

  • Supervise younger children at all times. Children not enrolled in class must remain seated with a parent and may not run, play, or wander throughout the gym.

  • Mats are for athletes only. For safety and cleanliness reasons, no siblings or spectators are allowed on the mats at any time. This includes before, during, and after class. This rule is extremely important to our coaches and is strictly enforced.

Safety

Injury Protocols

Any injury serious enough to go to the doctor will need to be cleared by the doctor to come back to the gym. We will need a doctor's release note for injuries including, but not limited to, major sprains, breaks, etc.

Practice

At Home

When practicing at home, please make sure your child does not practice skills outside the scope of their training.

Equipment

Gymnastics Equipment

If your child has gymnastics/tumbling equipment at home, please ensure it is used safely and with proper supervision. Equipment such as trampolines can be especially dangerous if not used correctly. Athletes should only practice skills they have been taught and approved by their coach. Attempting new or advanced skills at home significantly increases the risk of injury.
